Shelley Reid is Halcyon’s Head of Legal and Business Affairs. Prior to joining Halcyon, Reid served as Head of Business Affairs at Sonar Entertainment. She has served in senior leadership positions in business/legal affairs and corporate strategy. Shelley was Head of US Operations for Green Pavilion Limited as well as Executive Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at MGM Television Studios where she oversaw all aspects of development and production for such critically acclaimed series as “Fargo”, “The Handmaids Tale” and “Vikings”. She has held similar positions at Fox Television Studios, Scripps Network (Food Network) and Hearst Entertainment. Reid is the President of Visionary Women, a non-profit organization that supports women and girls, she is the founder of Under 35 of the Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel as well as a long-standing Governor of Otis College of Art & Design. Reid holds a B.A. and M.A. from USC and is graduate of the USC Gould School of Law.
